Hello Tavistock Neighbors!

Storm Clean Up is Underway

The HOA has been working with our landscape company since the wind storm on Friday to assess the damage in the community to include, downed and damaged trees and large limbs in common areas. Thank you to homeowners throughout that have been very helpful in this process of making us aware of areas not always able to be observed easily.  Please continue to report information directly to me.

 After our initial inspection of the community we have found that there has been significant damage to many homes in Tavistock, which include damaged/missing siding, damaged /missing roof shingles, fence damage, downspouts/gutters and downed trees.  The Association understands that it will take some time for residents to address the property damage to their homes, therefore, no required maintenance letters for these issues will be sent to homeowners for the next 60 days to give ample time for repairs to take place.  In the case of special circumstances, please contact me, if additional time is needed.

Please consider covering any exposed wood to avoid further damage.

If you are replacing your siding, roof, or fencing with the same color and style as was already installed, no Architectural Change Request Application is required.  If you’re unsure, check with me/my office.

During this period of storm cleanup please be very aware that unethical people may take advantage of these type of situations and solicit your business.  ALWAYS be sure any contractor you hire is licensed and insured and has references.

Also, The Town of Leesburg has specific instructions for putting out brush for collection. The Town’s website states that brush may Include tree limbs 4′ long but no more than 8 ’ in length and under 6” in diameter, and  that brush must be separated from other yard waste and trash.   Full instructions can be found on their website at: http://www.leesburgva.gov/government/departments/public-works/street-maintenance-division-services/brush-collection-services.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

SAVE THE DATE!!  Get ready for our Annual Tavistock Farms Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 18, 2018 12-2 pm.  Please RSVP to me (names and ages of children participating) at dkn1753@yahoo.com.  This information is needed for planning and organization purposes.  Volunteers for our event are always welcome and appreciated.

One important note regarding the Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 18th.  Just as it was last year, the event is open to ages 1-9.  We will have 3 different groups hunting for eggs at separate times – 1-3 year olds, 4-6 year olds and 7-9 year olds.   We will also have a balloon twister on site who will be happy to make balloon art for all ages!  🐰

Tsunami Swim Team Registration Opens
