Spring Fling Fun!

A HUGE Thank You to Donna Poliquin for being the best Easter Bunny for our Tavistock kiddos. You are truly a wonderful person and we are so lucky to have you as our neighbor and friend!

And a BIG congratulations to Kevin Wildman for winning our first Tavistock Bake-Off! (There is already talk of a rematch at the June BBQ-Off. Tavistock neighbors, you better bring it to beat this guy! See you June 12th!)

Registration for the Tavistock Tsunamis swim team is open!

We are a recreational swim team that seeks to develop individual swimmers physically and competitively, while having fun! We teach the kids about sportsmanship and what it is to be a part of a team. We also hold several social events throughout the season, so it is fun for the whole family! Please note that we are not swim lessons. Children should know the basics of how to swim and how to stay above the surface independently prior to joining the team. We take it from there to teach kids how to build endurance and each of the strokes to swim across the pool.

We are accepting all new and returning swimmers, ages 4-18 as of June 15th, 2022 on the team. Please go to the following website to register: Tavistock Farms Tsunamis : (teamunify.com).

<<<<<<<<< Meet Sarah Blossom!

Tell us about yourself and your family. I am a Midwest Ohio girl at heart, and have a passion for helping people. I have extensive knowledge of the market, and 20+ years of industry experience. Additionally, I’ve studied Early Childhood Development at Gloucester County College. Prior to becoming a full time Realtor, I began my career as an Asset Portfolio Manager with Canon USA Financial, Fidelity Leasing, and Leaf Financial.
After a successful 15 years in that area of the financial industry, I made the transition of becoming a real estate agent, selling $20 million in real estate. Since becoming a realtor in 2014, I’ve continued advising my clients to achieve their real estate goals, while saving them time and money in the process with a relentless work ethic & efficient customer service. I will help you find the perfect place to call home, and will ensure you feel informed every step of the way. While I am efficient, results-driven, and an excellent negotiator, I also love to have fun and to make home buying/selling an enjoyable experience for my clients. I am married to a proud U.S. Army Veteran, Cory, and have three amazing and energetic sons.
What brought you to Leesburg? My husband, Cory, had a condo in Leesburg while we were dating and I was living in Reston. Coming out to Leesburg every other weekend, I fell in love with the area and the scenic views throughout Loudoun.

What’s your favorite thing about living in Tavistock? My amazing neighbors! Shout out to Talmadge Ct! Truly the best neighborhood we have ever lived in. The playgrounds are such added bonuses to our kids being able to have outdoor fun! Seeing my children grow up and make what we hope are lifelong friends through their enjoyment with local sports. Lastly, our beautiful pond. When the weather is warmer you will see me on my daily morning walks, enjoying a stroll, and probably dancing a little to my favorite stations on Pandora.

How do you spend your weekends? With three sons involved in sports, and being a Realtor, my weekends involve supporting them as their number one fan, and problem solving for my clients to get the best deal for them!

What are your favorite restaurants in the area? Ohhhhh, my favorites hands down have been for years, The Conche for dinner & delicious custom cocktails, and Dolce & Ciabatta for breakfast.

What's an interesting thing about yourself? I learned and implemented daily morning meditation this year!

What are you most looking forward to in 2022? Summer Vacations with my family. We go to St. George Island in Florida and Topsail Island, NC each year with our families.

Describe our neighborhood in 3 words. Safe, family friendly, neighborly.

How has Tavistock Farms changed over the years? In my opinion, we get better every year! I have said this dozens of times, but I'm so thankful for our HOA board members and the fun events planned annually, in addition to the modern amenities, including playgrounds available for our families to enjoy.
